About the Music

Much of the music in this cd, an instrumental, was inspired by my friend, Morning Star, a Native American woman. The songs came from images and impressions she conveyed to me about her peoples’ culture and beliefs. The cover photo of Sacagawea by sculptress Glenna Goodacre was taken by Alton photographer, Bill Ash. This magnificent bronze work stands on the campus of Lewis & Clark College in Godfrey, IL.
